About Us

This network started when three occupational therapists in Tokyo started to exchange information about brain tumors. We named it Tokyo OT Brain Tumor Network in 2016. In addition to occupational therapists, we have a multidisciplinary team of nurses and physical therapists. We discuss about perioperative, outcome, schooling and employment, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, AYA generation, aging, nursing, nutrition, etc. Our network consists of eight people. We are usually working in different hospitals. Before the COVID-19, we used to have face-to-face meetings, but now we are working online.

東京都都内の3人の作業療法士が脳腫瘍について情報交換を開始したことが本ネットワークの始まりです。2016年にtokyo ot brain tumor networkと名付けました。現在では、作業療法士に加えて、看護師、理学療法士など多職種を交えて、周術期、アウトカム、就学就労、化学療法、放射線治療、AYA世代、高齢、看護、栄養等について情報を集めて意見交換を行っています。
